Dissemination Meeting of the International Centre of Education

The representatives of the International Centre of Education introduced Hungarian and French scholarship programmes to the BSU students.  The event was attended by Terry Burte, Attache for Scientific and University Cooperation of the French Embassy and Aniko Farkas, the Deputy Mission Head of the Embassy of Hungary.

The students were provided with the information about “Stipendium Hungaricum“ the Scholarship Programme of the Hungarian Government which aims at financing the education of 80 Georgian citizens in higher education institutions of Hungary. The financing programme includes monthly scholarship, accommodation and health  insurance until the completion of the whole education course.  The partners of the programme are: Tempus Public Foundation from Hungarian and International Education Centre from Georgian side.  

Moreover, the issue of scholarship programme “ MA programmes in France 2018-2019“, which considers funding MA education programmes in French higher education institutions for the Georgian students, was also discussed.

The programme is being implemented in the frame of the Cooperation Agreement concluded between the International Centre of Education, the French Embassy and Campus France.  

Terry Burte, Attache for Scientific and University Cooperation of the French Embassy met the directors of the Research Institutes in the frame of the visit. The parties planned to launch joint exchange programmes.
