
An international week in the frame of the ERASMUS+MUNDUS exchange programmes for the academic and the administrative staff was opened at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The aim of the event is to support the internationalization of the Higher Education Institution. The participants of the event met Professor Merab Khalvashi, Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Professor Inga Shamilishvili, Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of Autonomous Republic of Ajara and the professors and the teaching staff of the University. At the end of the event participants looked through the material-technical base of BSU, Dental Clinic, Regional Chromatography Centre of the Western Georgia, the Office of Immunogenetics, Psychological and Law Clinics.
In April 23-26 4 professors from Suceava University (Romania), Technological University of Crete (Greece) and the Academy of Physical Education of Wroclaw (Poland) will be delivering the lectures in the actual issues in the Tourism Management and Nanotechnologies for the students of the faculties of Tourism and Physics-Mathematics and Computer Sciences. Moreover, the representatives of the International Relations Services from various universities will conduct training in “Effective Management of Exchange Programmes” to share the experience with the Georgian colleagues. Assistant Professor Mzia Khakhutaishvili will give a lecture of an entertaining nature in Georgian Language for the participants of the International Week.
The event is organized by the department of Strategic Development and International Relations of BSU.
