Nicolae Dura, the member of Romanian Academy of Sciences, Professor at Constanta University, Honorable Doctor of Tbilisi State University delivered a public lecture “From the History of Relations Between Georgia and Romania” for Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Students, Professors and Teaching Staff. The presenter talked about the importance of scientific research of the relations between Batumi and Constanta as well as historical links between two countries. Moreover, the Professor valued the dedication to work of Antimoz Iverieli and Mikheil Stapanishvili, Georgian public figures in Romania. The public lecture was followed by the meeting between Professor Merab Khalvashi, Rector of BSU and Professor Nicolae Dura where concluding the Memorandum of Understanding between Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and the University of Constanta was planned.
