Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted Terry Burte, the French University Attaché for Scientific and University Cooperation, Pierre Van de Veg, Deputy Rector in the Field of International Relations of the University of Rennes 1 and Elise Gautier, Coordinator of European Projects of the Foreign Relations Department of the University of Rennes 1.
At the meeting with Merab Khalvashi, the BSU Rector, the cooperation with the University of Rennes 1 and the establishment of the Consortium of other five HEIs in France, in the study as well as the research, was planned. The future consortium envisages the exchange of professors, students and administrative staff. At the meeting, the sides also talked about the creation of a joint doctoral program, which will allow students to get double diploma.
The meeting was attended by Tamar Siradze, Deputy Rector in the field of study, Giorgi Tavamaishvili, Head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations and Tamar Machutadze, Head of the Research Service.
