BSU Successfully Passed Through the Authorization Process

On the 27th of August 2018 LEPL –Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University was awarded the authorization by the Authorization Board of HEIs. The process of authorization was implemented with the involvement of Georgian as we as International experts. The University was evaluated based on seven updated standards and procedures. The conclusion of the Authorization Board reflected the following strong sides of the University: big potential for development, orientation on future, continuous activity in the context of reforms, increasing the costs for effectiveness of the University, involvement of the students in the research projects, development and support of the student services, proactive and innovative approach for expanding laboratories and clinics.  

7 standards of the HEI include:

1. Mission and Strategic Development Plan of the University;
2. Organization Structure and Management
3. Educational Programmes;
4. Staff
5. Students and the Measures for Supporting Them;
6. Research, Development and Other Creative Activities;
7. Material, Information and Financial Resources;

The period of the awarded authorization of the HEI lasts for 6 years.
