On December 16-23 the students of the Faculty of Tourism of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University participated in the internship programme “International Hotel Management” in Berlin and Hamburg. The representatives of the brand hotels-"Scandic", "Mercure", "Henri", "Fairmont", "Prizeotel"-conducted an intensive training course in the Hotel Industry Management and Career Opportunities for the students.
In the frame of the visit the BSU Rector Prof. Merab Khalvashi and Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Prof. Rostom Beridze participated in the working meeting held at the University of Frezerium of Hamburg where the parties talked about the directions of future cooperation, the potential of implementation of summer schools and the joint projects.
The Internship programme was organized by Prof. Stefan Gerhard, partner of the hotel network (25 Hours Hotel Company GmbH, Arcona Hotel Holding GmbH, Fidelity Hotels & Resorts Betriebs & Verwaltungs GmbH), German expert of the Industry of Hospitality.
