70 Students of the Faculty of Tourism will be having their Professional Practice in Germany

70 students of the Faculty of Tourism of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University will leave for professional practice in Germany. Rector of BSU, Merab Khalvashi, Deputy Minister of Education, Culture and Sport of Autonomous Republic of Ajara Aleksandre Davitadze and Rostom Beridze, Head of the Department of the Hospitality Management of the Faculty of Tourism congratulated the young people on winning in the project and wished them success. The students will have 3 month period practice in high class hotels in Germany and get introduced to operation of all key structural units of hotels.

Besides gaining theoretical knowledge the students will get involved in everyday activities of the hotels, improve their practical skills and competences that will provide them with the opportunity of successful employment in the international market of the tourism service in future.

The students’ practice in Germany is ensured based on the Memorandum signed with the Baltic College in Schwerin, Germany and with the financial support of Batumi City Hall.

Almost 500 students of the Faculty of Tourism had their professional practice in high class hotels in Germany for the last three year period.
