British Ambassador Justin McKenzie Smith has met with students of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University within the frames of the UK-Georgia 2019 season. The representative of the diplomatic corps talked about the distinguishing friendly relations between the UK and Georgia and focused on the launch of joint exchange programs and the implementation of the internship programs. At the end of the meeting, the British Ambassador answered the students' questions.
The UK-Georgia 2019 campaign is a special program jointly planned by the British Embassy and the British Council, which includes festivals, conferences, film programs, workshops, and masterclasses, as well as discussions and lectures on music, film and the performing arts. The program of more than 60 events will be accomplished in December 2019.
Within the framework of the program, the mobile embassy will travel to different cities of Georgia. Visitors to Batumi “London Park” will have the opportunity to visit the mobile embassy, acquire information about British culture, educational programs and take part in cognitive-entertaining activities.
