Professor of the University of Graz, Thomas Krausman delivered a speech at the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University on Europeanization of Criminal Law and its Role in Human Rights. Professor Thomas Krausman introduced to the students and professors of Faculty of Law and Social Science such important issues as the harmonization of Eastern European legislation, in particular, Criminal Law, with EU legislation, and its impact on human rights.
The speaker also presented the brief history of the establishment of the European Union, the conception of the legislative basis and the integration of the laws of Georgia and Eastern Europe with the European Legislation.
The public speech was delivered within the framework of the higher education support program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport of Ajara AR.
