Professor Carl Kaser`s Public Speech "Challenge of the XXI Century - Visual Culture Research in the Black Sea Region"

The Honorary Doctor of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Professor Carl Kaser delivered a public speech on "Challenge of XXI Century - Visual Culture Research in the Black Sea Region". The speaker presented three stages of lectures on visual culture research. Professor Carl Kaser discussed the pre-secular history from the spectrum of the religion of visual cultures, cinematography and culture in modern life, the dispute of reality and utopia, and the influence of gender on the digital world. The prominent researcher is one of the founders of visual anthropology in the European scientific sphere.
