On January 27-28, the delegation of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, comprising Deputy Rector Prof. Tamar Siradze, Deputy Rector Prof. Natela Tsiklashvili and Associate Professor Inga Shamilishvili, visited the Wroclaw State University of Lower Silesia, Poland. A memorandum of cooperation was signed with Wroclaw State University. The BSU delegation also met with representatives of the Department of Journalism, Foreign Philology and Economics of the University of Wroclaw and outlined plans for the future relationship.
On the second day of the visit, the BSU delegation met with the Marshal of Lower Silesia, the Mayor of Wroclaw, the Honorary Consul, other government officials, and participated in the opening ceremony of the memorial squire named after Georgian warriors who died in Poland. Within the framework of the visit, the relationship was initiated with the Council of Higher Education and Research of the Wroclaw City Hall to support student programs and projects.
