Viktoria Horvath, the Ambassador of Hungary to Georgia and Csaba Gyuricza, Rector of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences had a meeting with Merab Khalvashi, the Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The sides talked about the exchange programmes for the students and professors in the fields of Agrarian Studies, Tourism and Economics; implementation of teaching-scientific projects, putting scholarships into operation and conducting joint public lectures. It was also planned to conclude a memorandum of cooperation between the educational institutions.
Besides the Rector, the meeting was attended by the Deputy Rector Tamar Siradze, Irakli Kordzaia, Acting Head of the Quality Assurance Service, Acting Dean of the Technological Faculty Darejan Jashi and the lecturer in the field of Agrarian Studies Mamuka Turmanidze.
