Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted the representatives of the NATO Navy. Admiral James Morley of the British Navy, Jonathan Lips, Captain of the United States Marine Corps and Col. Stephanie Begley, Attaché of the US Embassy’s Defense met the BSU students of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences and spoke about the defense and security issues of the North Atlantic Alliance.
The event was moderated by Catherine Schweizer, Head of the Public Relations Department of the US Embassy in Georgia and Tamara Tsuleiskiri, Director of the Information Center of NATO and the European Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting was held in question-answer mode and the guests answered the students’ topical questions.
