Annual Jean Monnet Student Conference: "Democracy, Rule of Law and Protection of Human Rights in the European Union" was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. At the conference, alumni of the Jean Monnet Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, the students presented the papers on the key values of the European Union, European integration, democracy in the EU, anti-corruption mechanisms, good governance, conflict prevention, national and cultural identity, freedom of mind, conscience and religion and other topical issues.
Discussions on the presented topics were held in the frame of the conference. The conference was organized with the support of the European Union within the framework of the Jean Monnet Department project. For detailed information, please see the conference program.
