
Eighty students of the Faculty of Tourism of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University will undergo a three-month internship in high-class hotels in Germany within the framework of the target program "International Internships of Students in German Tourism Industry Organizations" and will get acquainted with the functioning of the main structural unit of the hotel. The international internship is being implemented on the ground of a memorandum signed between the German Baltic College of Schwerin and Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University and financial programme of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara.
As part of the program, the Vice President of the Association of Waiters, Restaurants and Hotel Professionals in Germany, tourism expert Yorg Krakht, was invited to BSU to conduct a training course on "Style and Etiquette - Modern Manners" at the Castello Mare Hotel.
Students will be trained by Mr. Gerald Wetzel, and Mr. Kurt Heinz Reitz, tourism experts and the BSU Honorary Doctors, before leaving for Germany.
Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University thanks the hotel "Castello Mare" for allocating space and cooperation.
