A solemn reception dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the US-Georgia relations and strategic partnership was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia Kelly Degnan summed up the 30-year history of relations and cooperation between the two countries. The event was attended by BSU Rector Merab Khalvashi, Deputy Rector Tamar Siradze, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, professors and teaching staff and students.
A number of educational and scientific projects are being implemented at Batumi State University with the organization and support of the US Embassy.
