
A two-day international scientific conference: "The Black Sea at the Crossroads of Civilizations" was opened in Batumi's Shota Rustaveli State University within the framework of the scientific-educational event "Blue Policy of the Black Sea". The reports on the history, archaeology, ethnology, philology, linguistics, folklore, tourism, ecology, toponymy, religious studies, philosophy, architecture, law and other areas of the Black Sea region will be presented at the conference. More than 200 participants from 14 countries (USA, Great Britain, Italy, Germany, Poland, Greece, Romania, Ukraine, Turkey, etc.) will be taking part in the conference.
The scientific conference will be held in a mixed format, 10 sections will work in the auditorium, and 6 - online, using the Zoom platform.
The event is organized by Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Niko Berdzenishvili Institute, Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Romanian National Academy of Sciences and Constanta Ovidius University.
