
Ambassador of Hungary to Georgia Anna Maria Shiko visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University within the framework of the Visegrad festival. At the meeting with the Rector of BSU, professor Merab Khalvashi, the representative of the diplomatic corps spoke about the existing relations between the two countries and focused on the implementation of joint educational and scientific projects. During the visit, the ambassador also met the students and introduced the program of the Visegrad festival to them. Under the auspices of the festival, Professor Chaba Hidnis gave a public lecture on the topic: "The meeting of 3 kings of Central Europe in Visegrad in 1335 and the issue of the introduction of defensive weapons in the Middle Ages"; Professor Jemal Karalidze presented a report on the topic: "International relations of Georgia in the 14th century".
