Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted the delegation of Ankara Bashkent University. Director of Medical Center of Bashkent University Ali Haberal, Director of Department of Relations with Foreign Patients Ebru Ayvazoglu Soi and Deputy Director of Department of Relations with Foreign Patients Turhan Namazov met the BSU Rector, Professor Merab Khalvashi, Head of Administration Nika Chkhartishvili, Deans of Faculties, Professors and teachers and representatives of Strategic Development and International Relations Department.
The purpose of the visit was to further deepen the existing relationship between the two countries and to implement joint educational projects. At the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the history, educational programs, structure and material-technical base of the university. The parties also defined directions and perspectives of future cooperation.
It should be noted that on the basis of Ankara Bashkent University, a number of multi-disciplinary university hospitals are operating in different cities of Turkey. According to the agreement of the parties, it was planned to sign a memorandum and within the framework of joint cooperation, share experiences in both medical and different directions, to implement exchange programs, researches and projects.
