Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted the ceremonial reception held for the first-year foreign students of the One-Cycle Educational Program of Medical Doctor (instructed in English). Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Health Rusudan Khukhunaishvili, Head of BSU Administration Merab Diasamidze, Deputy Rector Anzor Beridze, Head of the Program Sofo Beridze and professors and the teaching staff congratulated the students on the start of their studies, gave souvenirs and wished them success.
Graduates of the program also participated in the event and shared their impressions and experiences with the freshmen.
The One-Cycle Educational Program of Medical Doctor (instructed in English) has been implemented since 2015 in BSU; currently about 700 foreign students are studying at it.
