"Erasmus+" project SQUARE participants visit to Brussels

On March 27-29, within the framework of the "Erasmus+" project - "Strengthening the quality and relevance of the third mission in Georgian universities" (SQUARE), BSU Deputy Rector Tamar Siradze and Head of Public Relations Service Nino Dolidze paid a working visit to Brussels. The visit was organized by EFMD in Belgium. The Objectives of the visit were to get a clear picture of the EU policy in terms of 3M and the potentials for alignment; exchange best practices with the European counterparts and discuss potential collaborations.

On March 27 the meetings were held at EFMD headquarters; on March 28 - at the Catholic University of Leuven, in the city of Leuven; on March 29 - at the School of Management of the University of Antwerp, in the city of Antwerp.

During 3 days, Georgian partners attended such events as:

  •  Meeting with the official representatives of the European Union;
  •  Round table with rectors of European universities and representatives of ministries;
  •  On-site visit to European universities and branches of ministries;
  •  On-site visit to the institutions implementing the projects of the third mission, which have the status of a member of EFMD.

The project is in its third year and will be completed at the end of this year.
