
Within the EPSY project of Erasmus+, a working week was opened at Shota Rustveli State University in Batumi. During one week, under the guidance of the project coordinator, professor Indira Dzagania, representatives of different universities of Georgia, Poland, Romania and the Tbilisi Mental Health Crisis Intervention Service will develop working guidelines for the psychologists of the Student Counseling Center opened within the project.
The participants of the meeting will be welcomed by BSU Rector Merab Khalvashi, Deputy Rector Tamar Siradze, EPSY Project Coordinator Professor Indira Dzagania, Head of the Education Department of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara Nazibrola Beridze-Gabaidze, Project Coordinator at BSU Marina Aroshidze, Dean of the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences Levan Jakeli and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Teona Beridze.
Within the framework of the project, a Center for Psychological Counseling was established at Shota Rustaveli State University in Batumi, through which students will receive psychological consultation and assistance as required. Young people will be helped by psychologists who have undergone specialized training at the universities of Bydgoszcz and Brasov and participated in workshops and seminars organized by Georgian and European specialists.
