The 86th graduation ceremony was held at Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi. Rector of the university, Professor Merab Khalvashi, Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara Maia Khajishvili, Chairman of the Education, Science, Culture and Sports Committee of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, Davit Batsikadze, and the deans of the faculties congratulated the graduates dressed in robes on the completion of their studies, wished them success and handed over certificates. About 1150 students of all levels of educational programmes graduated from BSU this year. At the event, more than 200 students were awarded certificates for graduating with honors and active participation in student life.
Within the framework of the event, the graduates of the health department, dressed in white coats, traditionally took the doctor's oath in a solemn situation.
Graduation ceremony of graduates ended with throwing of hats, fireworks and concert given by “Tamada.” The event was also marked musically by the BSU band "OFF SIDE".
