BSU graduate Mariam Nodia is a two-time world champion in arm wrestling

Mariam Nodia, a graduate of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Faculty of Natural Sciences and Health Care, became the world champion in arm wrestling for the second time. The athlete competed in the under-23 women's category at the current World Championship in Kazakhstan and won first place by defeating her Kazakh opponent. Mariam Nadia won the title of world champion for the first time in 2019, in the world championship held in Romania. The arm wrestler also successfully competed in the 2023 European Championships, women's under-23 50 kg. Mariam won gold medals in weight category and right and left arm. Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi congratulates Mariam Nodia on her well-deserved victory and wishes her success.
