
The XIII International Conference of the Union of Mathematicians of Georgia was opened at Shota Rustaveli State University in Batumi. About 300 scientists from Georgian and foreign universities and scientific-research institutions are participating in the six-day conference. The presented scientific reports will contribute to the dissemination of information, strengthening of cooperation, raising the awareness of mathematical researches in Georgia and the country. The best papers will be published in the international journal "Journal of Mathematical Sciences" (Springer).

The scientific conference is traditionally held at Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi and it is held with the support of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara and the International Union of Mathematicians (IMU).
