GAMS VIII international conference "Neurochallenges 2023 in the era of evidence-based and
personalized medicine" was held with the support of BSU. At the conference, 150 leading scientists and
doctors from the USA, Georgia, England, Germany, Israel, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, and Turkey
presented scientific reports on the latest achievements in the medical field, treatment and research
methods. Within the framework of the conference, BSU rector Merab Khalvashi awarded honorary
certificates to professors: Irakli Sulakvelidze, Amos Korchini, Zurab Nadareishvili and Sherefnur Ozturuk
for their contribution to the development of continuous professional education and training of national
medical personnel.
