
Sheraz Gasri, Ambassador Plenipotentiary of France to Georgia, visited Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi. At an introductory meeting with the Rector of the university, Merab Khalvashi, the representative of the diplomatic corps spoke about the cultural and educational relations of the two countries, future cooperation, exchange programs and the need to deepen cooperation in the direction of scientific research. At the meeting, the parties also discussed the creation of a joint Georgian-French master's program - "Tourism", which is being prepared together with Angers University. In addition, an AUF center will be opened at the University, on the basis of the Faculty of Tourism, which will further strengthen relations with French universities.
Ambassador Plenipotentiary of France to Georgia Sheraz Ghasri also met the participants of the "Advocacy for the Protection of Children and Youth" project and got acquainted with the results of the program. One of the partners of the project is the French organization - International Child Catholic Bureau (BICE), which is implemented by the "Georgian Public Health Foundation".
