The Head of the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, Aleksandre Vinikov, together with the Deputy Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Professor Tamar Siradze, met with BSU students and gave a public lecture about the functioning, goals and principles of the North Atlantic Alliance. The meeting was aimed at promoting the awareness and involvement of local youth about Western integration, deepening NATO-Georgia cooperation and reviewing future perspectives. After the public lecture, the head of the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, Alexandre Vinikov, answered the questions of the students.
The event dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the founding of NATO was held at the initiative of the Information Center on NATO and the European Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Liaison Office of NATO in Georgia.
