Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Rector Merab Khalvashi, Tourism Faculty Dean Irakli Kordzaia and Deputy Dean Nana Giorgadze paid a working visit to the advanced high school FERRANDI Paris of Hospitality of France in order to promote the development and internationalization of tourism educational programs. The visit included the presentation of short and long-term programs, familiarization with the educational infrastructure, revealing opportunities for cooperation in the direction of student internships and academic mobility.
The meetings in Paris and Dijon were hosted by the Paris Chamber of Commerce, representatives of the International Relations Department of FERRANDI Paris and the Georgian Ambassador to France.
The visit was planned by the initiative of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara and representatives of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, "Black Sea" Vocational College and Association of Gastronomic and Rural Tourism were involved in it.
