The participants of the 2024 meeting of the network of children's rights centers of Georgian universities and child rights advocates signed the declaration of the formation of the academic network of children's rights. The academic network aims to create a favorable environment for academic research, research and advocacy aimed at strengthening the realization of children's rights. Members will use the network as a platform to exchange ideas, practices, opinions, experiences and resources on the promotion and protection of children's rights. The association will also facilitate partnerships with academic networks in other countries to share child rights knowledge, research, advocacy principles and practices.
They will also closely cooperate with the United Nations Children's Foundation in Georgia, as a global leader in the promotion and protection of children's rights among United Nations agencies.
