Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University was visited by tourism expert, head of the German International Institute of Hospitality and honorary doctor of BSU, professor Gerald Wetzel. Within the framework of the visit, Professor Gerald Wetzel held a meeting on the issues of personnel qualification, travel formalities and intercultural communication in the field of tourism with the students who will go to Germany for a three-month internship.
Within the framework of the memorandum signed with the German International Institute of Hospitality (Internationales Institut für Hospitality (IIFH) more than 500 BSU students underwent training and internship in the German institutions of Tourism Industry.
