BSU is hosting the XIV International Conference of the Union of Mathematicians of Georgia

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is hosting the XIV International Conference of the Union of Mathematicians. About 350 scientists from Georgian and foreign universities and scientific-research institutions are participating in the six-day conference. The presented scientific reports will contribute to the dissemination of information, strengthening of cooperation, raising the awareness of the mathematical researches in Georgia and the country. The best papers will be published in the international journal "Journal of Mathematical Sciences" (Springer).

10 parallel sections will work at the conference in a mixed format:

·         Algebra and Numberical Theory;

·         Differential and Integral Equations and their Applications;

·         Geometry and Topology;

·         Logic, Language, Artificial Intelligence;

·         Mathematics Education and History of Mathematics;

·         Mathematical Logic and Discrete Mathematics;

·         Mathematical Modeling and Numerical Analysis;

·         Theoretical Physics;

·         Probability Theory and Statistics, Financial Mathematics;

·         Real and Complex Analysis.

Within the framework of the conference, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the University of Petra (Greece) and Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi. The agreement provides for the implementation of joint educational-scientific projects and exchange programs. Within the framework of the memorandum, joint scientific conferences, summer schools, seminars and trainings will be held.

The scientific conference is traditionally held at Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi and it is held with the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara and the Union of Mathematicians of Georgia
