An internal working meeting of the staff implementing the project "Responsible Conduct of Research - Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS)" funded by the European Commission was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. At the meeting, the participants discussed the details of the 3-day training workshop for trainers held on October 11-13 at one of the partner institutions of the project - ATSU, as well as, the work to be performed by the BSU team, and the future plans of the project. The participants of the training of trainers shared with their colleagues the experience gained during the meeting and agreed on the preparatory work for conducting the trainings.
It is planned to conduct trainings in BSU in agreement and cooperation with the project coordinator - Ilia State University and the European partners of the ETHICS project.
BSU has been implementing the ETHICS project since February 1, 2023. The main goal of the project is to improve existing mechanisms, procedures and services in the direction of research ethics and integrity at the university level.
