Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi, with the financial support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth, participated for the first time in the International Education Exhibition and Conference held in Toulouse (France) on September 17-20, 2024 organized by the European Association of International Education (EAIE).
The head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations from BSU, Prof. Marine Giorgadze attended the large-scale international educational event. Business and interesting meetings were held both with BSU's old partners and friends, in order to deepen and strengthen future cooperation, as well as with new partners who expressed their desire for future cooperation, namely with representatives of the universities of France, Germany, Turkey, Israel, Spain, Italy, Romania. In the future, it is planned to sign memoranda, as well as sign agreements for the purpose of implementing exchange programs, involvement in international projects.
EAIE is one of the largest and most prestigious international exhibitions in the field of higher education, in which 7,000 representatives of 300 organizations from more than 100 countries participated, including 16 universities from Georgia. In interesting plenary and session speeches, European experts discussed the issues of internationalization of higher education, mobility of academic and administrative personnel, development of joint educational programs.
Participation in the exhibitions of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) contributes to the promotion of universities, increasing awareness and the development of internationalization of higher education.
