The winning student project "Gather2Gether-2" at BSU ended with the festival "BSU FEST-2024"

The winning student cultural and educational project "Gather2Gether-2" was completed at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, which aimed to bring Georgian and foreign students closer together, share culture, conduct educational events, and strengthen integration. The project included several important activities, including a poster competition titled "Integration and Acceptance" and a photo competition titled "Diversity in Real Life."

At the event, Head of Administration Merab Diasamidze, Deputy Rector Tamar Siradze, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Health Rusudan Khukhunaishvili, Director of the Center for Management of the Graduate Medical English Program Marine Koridze, and Head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations Marine Giorgadze spoke about the importance of the project, the role of cultural diversity, and awarded the winning students in the competition.

The project ended with a large-scale festival "BSU FEST-2024", where Georgian and foreign students presented the culture and traditions of their countries. The festival included musical performances, presentations of cultural traditions, including mehendi hand painting, introduction to various scripts, and tasting of traditional cuisine. The university band and choreographic ensemble "Tbeti" participated in the event. The event also featured the premiere of a band composed of foreign students, which will subsequently participate in the university's cultural events. A ceremony of putting on white robes for freshmen was also held.

The author of the project is Febrian Nishantahan Ahishtani, a student of the English-language single-cycle "Diploma in Medicine" program at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Health at BSU.
