International mobility at BSU

At the initiative of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations of BSU, a meeting was held with students who are on exchange programs at BSU in the fall semester. At the meeting, 7 students from Vidzeme (Latvia), Astana Kazakh University and Aktobe Zhubanov University (Kazakhstan) were awarded certificates.

The meeting was also attended by BSU students who will continue their studies in the spring semester of 2025 at 15 European universities, namely, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Bulgaria, and Turkey. The international mobility of students is funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ program (27 students) and the grant project of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Adjara Autonomous Republic (9 students).

The students were addressed by the Deputy Rector of the University Anzor Beridze, the Head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations Marine Giorgadze, the Head of the Education Department of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Adjara Autonomous Republic Nazibrola Beridze Gabaidze, who, as a doctoral student at BSU, is a beneficiary of the Erasmus+ grant project; and the Head of the Vocational and Higher Education Department of the Ministry Marina Paksadze.
