A delegation from Vanadzor State University visited BSU. Rustam Sahakyan, Rector of Hovhannes Tumanyan Vanadzor State University, Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Batumi, Narine Matosiyan, and Advisor to the Head of Vanadzor Municipality, Arman Bernetsian, met with BSU Rector Tite Aroshidze. The parties identified the priorities of future cooperation and agreed to implement joint projects.
Within the framework of the visit, Tite Aroshidze, Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, and Rustam Sahakyan, Rector of Hovhannes Tumanyan Vanadzor State University, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The agreement provides for strengthening cooperation between the universities in the educational and scientific fields. Launching exchange programs for professors, researchers and students, holding joint conferences, summer schools, symposiums, seminars and cultural events.
The meeting was attended by BSU Deputy Rectors - Merab Khalvashi and Tamar Siradze, as well as Marine Giorgadze, Head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations.
