
At BSU, World Bank Senior Economist Saida Ismailakhunova conducted a public lecture to students and interested parties on the topic: “The Future of Jobs and Skills in Georgia”. Participants received information about the changes that are developing as a result of new technologies and economic dynamics and affecting professional directions.
The meeting was opened by BSU Rector Tite Aroshidze and Head of Administration Merab Diasamidze, who emphasized the importance of cooperation with the World Bank and the role of such meetings in the process of education and youth development.
Within the framework of the event, World Bank representatives provided participants with information about the activities of the global international institution - the World Bank. The meeting continued in a question-and-answer format, and an interactive activity was also held, aimed at developing teamwork, analysis and decision-making skills.
Georgia became a member of the World Bank on August 7, 1992, and since then the organization plays an important role in the development of the country.
