
The sixth International Week was opened at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, organized by the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations. More than 20 representatives from 12 universities visited the university during the week.
The participants were welcomed by the Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Tite Aroshidze; the Minister of Education and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara Maia Khajishvili, the Director of the National Office of Erasmus+ in Georgia, Mariam Sulashvili, Deputy Rectors: Tamar Siradze and Merab Khalvashi, as well as the Head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations, Marine Giorgadze, welcomed the guests.
During the 5 days, representatives of the administrative and academic staff of the partner countries of the international exchange programs - Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, North Macedonia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, France, Israel, Malta, Lithuania, Greece - will hold meetings with the university administration, academics, and students. They will get acquainted with the university infrastructure, and will make presentations about the universities they represent.
On June 12, within the framework of the week, a training on creating a “Joint Educational Programs (Double Degree)” will be held. ‘
