Representatives from George Washington University and the US Embassy in Georgia visited BSU

The Vice Rector for Research at George Washington University, Sylvia Ezekilova, the Coordinator of Education Programs at the US Embassy in Georgia, Sopho Bzishvili, and the Coordinator of the University Institutional Development Programs (UCBP) of the American Councils for International Education, Natia Sirdadze, visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

The meeting with the Rector of BSU, Tite Aroshidze, and representatives of the university’s governing bodies discussed the prospects for future cooperation between BSU and George Washington University. The conversation also touched on the programs implemented with the support of the US Embassy, ​​in which the academic staff of BSU is actively involved.

The visit was held within the framework of the University Capacity Building Program (UCBP), a program funded by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Georgia, and coordinated by the American Councils for International Education Georgia Office.
