Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University was visited by Franz Kok, a researcher at the University of Salzburg in Paris Lodron, and a BSU Party Doctor. The guest was met by BSU Rector Tite Aroshidze, Head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations Marine Giorgadze, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences Levan Jakeli, and representatives of the Department of Social and Political Sciences.
The meeting discussed the deepening of cooperation between the universities in the field of political sciences and future plans. It was planned to develop a joint bachelor's program in international relations, deepen research cooperation for students and professors, and conduct joint projects.
The meeting was also attended by graduates of the Bachelor's program of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of BSU - Shalva Shalikadze, Mariam Kurshubadze, Giorgi Bolkvadze, Data Kobaladze, who will continue their studies in the PoSIG joint master's program of Salzburg, Tirana, Ljubljana, Skopje and other universities - from the 2025-2026 academic year.
