Training "Research Ethics" for BSU academic, invited and scientific staff and students

In February-March 2025, a training on the topic “Research Ethics” was held for BSU academic, invted and scientific staff and students. 43 BSU academic and invited staff, 29 scientific staff and 15 students participated in the trainings held with separate target groups. The 4-hour online training, using the Zoom platform, was held on February 14, 2025 for scientific staff, on February 17 - for academic and invited staff and on March 31 - for students. The training was prepared within the framework of the project “Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities - ETHICS” funded by the European Commission, and BSU personnel involved in the project participated in its preparation and implementation.

The trainings discussed the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity, important issues related to research ethics, plagiarism, the use of artificial intelligence in research, and the conscientious planning and implementation of research.
