Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (BSU) hosted a delegation from the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, including the Rector, Makhiddin Pulatov, Head of the International Relations Ranking Department, Farhod Safarov, and Head of the International Relations Department, Jonibek Makhmudov.
The guests met with BSU Rector Tite Aroshidze, Vice-Rectors Giorgi Katamadze and Tamar Siradze, Deans of the Faculties Irakli Kordzaia and Natia Tsiklashvili, as well as the Head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations, Marine Giorgadze.
The Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service is one of Uzbekistan’s leading higher education institutions in the field of tourism. Accordingly, the institute expressed interest in collaborating with BSU in the areas of tourism, economics, and business, particularly in terms of student and academic staff exchange.
As part of the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two institutions.
