
As part of the events celebrating the 90th anniversary of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (BSU), the university hosted the international conference “New Trends in High-Energy Physics – 2025.” The conference was held in a hybrid format, bringing together leading scientists from around the world in the field of high-energy physics.
Participants joined from 18 countries, including: Georgia, USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, Poland, France, Spain, Hungary, Ukraine, Switzerland, India, China, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Austria, and Romania.
The conference featured more than 45 scientific presentations, both plenary and sectional, along with 3 online presentations.
Distinguished keynote speakers included:
- Gia Dvali – LMU Munich, Germany
- Larry McLerran – University of Washington, USA
- Elena Bratkovskaya – GSI & Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany
- Andrzej Czarnecki – University of Alberta, Canada
The conference became a dynamic platform for in-depth scientific discussions on a wide range of topics, including: hadronic structure, collider physics, neutrinos and astrophysics, gravitational waves, instrumentation, and applied research.
