Organized by Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Faculty of Economics and Business and with the financial support of the Ministry of Education and Sport, of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, International Scientific Conference - "Global Challenges of Economy and Business and Sustainable Development - 2025" was opened at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State Univfersity.
The conference aims to deepen international scientific cooperation, discuss modern economic challenges, and share innovative approaches to sustainable development.
The conference was opened by BSU Rector Tite Aroshidze, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Natia Tsiklashvili, Ajara A.R. Deputy Minister of Education and Sport Jemal Surmanidze and Minister of Finance and Economy of Ajara Edar Nataridze.
The scientific conference is held in hybrid mode. On the first day, about 150 researchers will present the latest scientific research from Georgia, Poland, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, Italy, the US and other countries. The conference will work in the following sections: Economy, Finance, Banking and Insurance Case, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Accounting, Analysis and Audit, Tourism.

The next day, the presentation of the popular textbook of the famous American author James Redelshimer's Microeconomics/Macroeconomics will be held.
The conference has partnership with Georgian and foreign higher education institutions, including Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Mitkov University, Krakow's University of Economics, Vitautas University, Latvian Life Science and Technology University, Wrocalt University, University of Wrocalt, University of Economics and International Navigation "Innovative Economy and Management". The conference partners are Ajara AR. Ministry of Finance and Economy and Ajara AR Ministry of Education and Sport.
