
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia, Ishizuka Hideki, Assistant to the Ambassador, Nestan Meskhi, and the famous Japanese pianist, Maestro Toshiki Usui, who visited Batumi within the framework of the International Black Sea Festival, paid a visit to BSU.
The guests met with the Rector of the University, Tite Aroshidze, as well as Deputy Rectors Tamar Siradze, Giorgi Katamadze, and Head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations, Marine Giorgadze. The parties discussed cooperation with Japanese universities (Tokyo Metropolitan University, University of Tsukuba). The guests presented books in Japanese to Lasha Bolkvadze, a Japanese language teacher at BSU.
