
The “German Language Day” was organized at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University by the Embassies of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as DAAD and the Goethe Institute. The participants and the audience were welcomed by BSU Deputy Rector Tamar Siradze and representatives of the organizing institutions.
The large-scale event included a diverse program - informational meetings, seminars and workshops were held for teachers, students and parents on such issues as: studying in Germany, DAAD scholarship programs, opportunities for introducing and using artificial intelligence in the classroom, etc. Cognitive, entertaining, theatrical and musical performances were intended for children from 3 years old, adolescents and young people.
Within the framework of the “German Language Day” program, the project “Creative Compass Georgia” was presented in the fields of photography, painting and electronic music Representatives of the field. The aim of the project was to support the strengthening of cultural and creative industries (CCI) in the regions and the representation of representatives of the local cultural sector.
The “German Language Day” events were co-organized and participated in various activities by the Faculty of Humanities of BSU and the Association of German Language Teachers of Georgia.
