Project ‘San Diego University and Georgia 2020’

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted presentation of the international project 'San Diego University and Georgia 2020'. Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Magda Magradze, CEO of Millennium Challenge Account, Giorgi Tavamaishvili, Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of Ajara, and Kenneth D. Walsh SDSU, J.R. Filanc Construction Engineering and Management Program Director and Dean of San Diego University’s technological school in Georgia held a presentation of the 30 million project “San Diego State University and Georgia 2020”. The project is being jointly carried out by MCCA (US Millennium Challenge Corporation Account and MCA (Georgia) since 2014.

The project aims to offer American undergraduate programs to Georgian students starting in 2015-2016 academic year. San Diego State University will announce admissions for BA programs in chemistry, biology, electrical engineering, computer engineering and computer science industrial and civil construction areas from the next academic year.
