Azerbaijan's Consul General in Batumi Rashid Fail Oglu Ismayilov visited Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. The diplomat met with the Acting Rector Merab Khalvashi and introduced himself with the University life, its history, academic programs and university life today. At the introductory meting, the diplomat spoke about the significance of the two countries' cooperation and the importance of educational and scientific relations. During the visit the parties agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation between BSU and Azerbaijani higher education institutions.
