Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Acting Rector Merab Khalvashi and the Minister of Justice Thea Tsulukiani signed Memorandum of Understanding with the goal of enhanced cooperation. The MoA will support professional training of the BSU students who study law, and will facilitate joint implementation of research and scientific projects, holding of public lectures, introduction of education methodological innovations. The BSU students will take internships in the respective structural units at the partner institution under the Memorandum.
The MoA initiative will contribute to the training of more efficient staff, professional development and improvement of practical skills.
After the signing of the MoA, Minister of Justice Thea Tsulukiani gave a public lecture on the visa liberalization with EU and answered questions during the discussion. Minister Tsulukiani also visited the moot court hall, criminology and forensic clinic cabinet at the Faculty of Law of BSU.
